Saint Ana Women's Organization
On May 11, 2014, the "Saint Ana" Women's Organization was established under the auspices of the Church of St. Athanasius the Great, as an integral member of the Association of Romanian Orthodox Women in North America (ARFORA), with the aim of actively supporting the Parish Council and the parish priest of the Church of St. Athanasius, through cooperation in the charitable projects established by them.
The Women’s Organization consists of over 30 members. They actively contribute to organizing social, charitable, and fundraising events. Some of the most appreciated fundraising events of the Women’s Association are the weekly bake sales of homemade pastries, as well as the annual sales of mititei, sausages, pască, and cozonaci. The most beloved social event is the celebration of International Women’s Day, March 8.
